PMI Headquarters
On the ground floor of a contemporary office building, a collage of motives gives birth to an extremely rich ambient interior, which actually feels like a mixture of exterior, landscape and interior. Something in between, something at the point where classic definitions dissolve and give space to an unencumbered perception of the designed area.
A place where the round, creative meeting room becomes a “tree house”, positioned in the real tree crown; the freestanding round smoking room becomes the “black kitchen”, and the grand multipurpose space is called the “flying carpet”.
The mirrors as fences around the trees create a stunning effect of a forest in the middle of the office; the cork on the surface of the cabinets fights the acoustic issue of the opened plan, and curtains take over a big chunk of flexibility demands.
And, at the end of the day, it is a place of serious business and of a cosy pleasant working environment at the very same time.
