K16
A good-old-days apartment, room after room after room, windows in strict rhythms as demanded by the modest early 20th-century façade, a different kind of functionality. A young couple, absolutely design sensitive, a bit sentimental about the good old days. And an interior design concept for a full renovation that enhanced the repetition of rooms and windows into a functionally completely circular floor plan, ambient-fluid and repetitious, yet fully rich walk-through experience.
Lofty-type finishes of raw concrete, matt-black metal and solid oak with fine touches of original furnace ceramic tiles, a large dining table dismantled on the wall appearing as a graphic and a grand oval mirror by the entrance, and a pair of impressive deer horns!
